Melinda Klotz, M.ED., NCED
Melinda Klotz is the Director Of Assessment
Melinda earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Hardin-Simmons University. Following that graduation, she pursued her passion for education, completing a Master’s Degree in Education with a specialization as an Educational Diagnostician at Abilene Christian University.
She began her career in the private sector, conducting evaluations for individuals of all ages in Abilene, Texas. In 2009, Melinda began working in the public schools after that, where she dedicated 15 years to roles in both general and special education. Her positions included Special Education Teacher, Educational Diagnostician, General Education Teacher in Science and English Language Arts, Instructional Coach, and Team Leader. Motivated by her passion for empowering families and students to recognize their strengths and advocate for their needs within the educational system, she decided to transition her career beyond the school system and add her experience and expertise to the Diagnostic Learning team.
Melinda lives in Frisco Texas with her husband, Jason, and their two French bulldogs, Eleanor and Luna. She enjoys traveling, spending time with friends, and soaking in every moment with her three adult daughters: Phoebe, Parker, and Preslie.
